Testing the Armani luminous silk foundation! Is it worth the hype?

Hey everyone! I’m so sorry I have been M.I.A lately. I have been super busy. But anyway I wanted to start reviewing some makeup that I got for Christmas. So I have given some time since Christmas to put the makeup to the test... now to share my thoughts.
So this foundation is on the slightly higher end of the market at £42. It can be purchased on a number of different websites like Feel Unique, Look fantastic, Selfridges and more.

One of the things I really like is that it comes with a pump. This sounds silly but there is a lot of foundations that don’t and you have to buy it separately.
The foundation itself is really nice. It’s quite light and has more of a sheer finish. I would say it’s more of a light to medium coverage. It is really nice as it blurs out many imperfections and sits really nicely on the skin. I didn’t find that it emphasises my pores, which is great. I also like the fact that it leaves a matte but not flat finish. It also uses the exclusive Micro-Fill technology to sculpt and brighten the skin. I would say if you wanted more of a glow, then mix the foundation with a liquid highlighter. My personal favourite is Benefit Cosmetics High beam. Personally, the best way to blend this foundation was with a kabuki brush.

Here is what it looks like on the skin:

Overall I think that this foundation is gorgeous and definitely worth it!
