♢ Makeup Revolution hit and misses ♢

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend. So I have decided that I am going to be doing a series of blogs that are all about the best and worst products of different brands. Today I am starting with the currently very popular Makeup Revolution. Now, just before I start rating the products that I have tried, I just wanted to say that this is my opinion and I do love Makeup Revolution's products and I think they are good value for money. Also, I just wanted to say that just because these products did or didn't work out for me, doesn't mean that it will be the same for you. Everyone is different and that is why makeup is so great.

Okay anyway enough of the boring stuff.
The first product I am going to talk about is the highlight palette. (MISS)

For me this palette was okay, but I didn't think it was one of their best highlighting products. The palette comes with three different shades and to be honest they aren't as pigmented as I would have liked or hoped them to be. To get them to show up I had to apply so much product to my brush. They swatched really well but as soon as you apply them on top of foundation it just doesn't show up. The palette costs £8.00. Which is good value but they sell other good highlighters for around the same price. Overall, I wouldn't buy it again. I think there is better quality highlighters.

The next product I want to talk about is their cream contour palette. (HIT)
This is one of my favourite products from them as it is super creamy and easy to blend. this palette also costs £8.00. This is so worth the money and I would 100% worth the money. It also suits many skin tones which is an added bonus. It also doesn't make you look orange like many other cream contour kits. the palette contains 8 different shades which is totally amazing.

The next product I'm going to talk about is their beautiful blush palette. (HIT)
Again, this palette also contains 8 different shades. For me this palette is super pretty and I like that there is a variety of different shades. The palette contains a mixture of bronze and pink blushes. It is £6 from Superdrug which is an amazing price for 8 different shades. I would buy this again and I recommend that you give it a try. Especially because blush is becoming the new contour.

The next product I am going to talk about is the Fast base foundation. (MISS)
Now, I know that everyone is raving about this foundation and I know a lot of people are most likely going to hate me for this... But I don't think this foundation is for me. I like the idea that it is a stick foundation and I like the coverage. However, it has really dried my skin out each time I have used it and it seems to have broke me out in spots. Although, it is only £5.

The next product is the define and conceal concealer. (HIT)

I personally love this concealer like so many other makeup enthusiasts across the world. I think it is one of the best products that Makeup Revolution has come up with. The packaging itself is a glass tube and is really cute to be honest. It is £4 from Superdrug and honestly the best £4 I have spent on a concealer. It is so creamy and doesn't increase the appearance of fine lines underneath the eye whilst being super full coverage! Yes, yes yes to this concealer!!!

The next product is the liquid highlight. (HIT)
I have two of these. The one in the picture is in the shade liquid euphoric gold. And I couldn't be more in love with a liquid highlighter. It is an absolute steal at just £6 compared to the Cover fx liquid highlighter which is going to break the bank at £34. So I would definitely go for the cheaper one as it is a blinding highlighter and it is so pigmented and so much cheaper that other leading liquid highlighter.

The next product is...the Pro HD highlight palette. (HIT)
OH MY GOD. Let me tell you how flipping amazing this palette is... It comes with soo many different shades and finishes. The palette is £15 from Superdrug. Which is an absolute bargain for the fact that you get 8 different shades which are ALL bomb. Most of the time when you buy a palette you get one or two shades that just are not as pigmented... But girl, not in this palette. Each highlight is so pigmented and they all suit different skin tones. Guys 100% buy this palette... like right now!

The next product is the Salvation palette colour chaos. (HIT)

This palette is crazzyyy pigmented and is perfect for this years festival season! The palette has a mixture of matte and shimmer shades making a total of 18 shades. I don't actually know how much this palette is because I got sent it from Superdrug as part of their Halloween campaign. But I do love the variety of different shades in this palette.

The last product I am going to review is the brow tint. (HIT)
Oh my lord this brow tint is so good. It is £5 from Superdrug and is again 100% worth the money. It really does tint your brows in less than an hour. Also, it lasts about 3-5 days too. Not to mention the fact that every two weeks when I get my brows done I pay an extra £8 to get them tinted. where as I have payed only £5 and I can tint them a lot.

Okay guys that is the end of my Makeup Revolution hit and misses. Be sure to check out my next brand that I post the best and worst products. If you have any products you would like me to review then let me know in the comment section. Have a lovely day!
